AIR BRAKE ENDORSEMENT

This program does not require approval under the PCC Act, 2005

Pre-requisite:  Full Class G Ontario licence, over 18 years of age

The “Z” endorsement is required to operate any vehicle equipped with air brakes in the province of Ontario. This includes large motor homes and other RV’s. Our MTO-approved air brake course is both fun and informative where you can earn your Z-endorsement over a 2-day period. This 2-day course is open to the public and runs once per month at each campus.

As an approved MTO facility, we are licenced through the Truck Training Schools Association of Ontario to deliver both the theory and practical training and testing at our facility.

Upon successful completion of the written and practical exams you simply go to a DriveTest Centre (after 48 hours but within 6 months) to have the Z-endorsement added to your licence. You MUST get your Z-endorsement applied to your driver’s licence within six months of taking this course. If you are doing a road test in a vehicle equipped with air brakes you must have the Z-endorsement on your licence at the time of testing.

Payment in full is required by cash/cheque/credit to hold a seat.  A clear copy of your driver’s licence is also required to register.  These courses are very popular so we recommend registering early.
