DFZ Program
Approved as a vocational program under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.
Our DFZ program has been designed to provide job readiness in the local truck market, such as pick-up and delivery, construction, waste management, Post Office, municipal fleets, landscaping, Fire Departments, there is a huge demand for people with this level of commercial licencing.
In as little as three weeks you can be ready to operate an automatic straight truck and we can add on a module to teach you the techniques for shifting a semi-synchronized 13-speed vehicle which gives you the skill necessary to drive a dump truck, fire truck 5 ton box truck, even a cement truck, if you want. The F will allow you to drive a small bus with up to 24 passengers.
Course Curriculum:
- One week in class room, and that includes your air brake certification.
- We also prepare you for the written exams at the MTO
- Two days in Truck (just prior to your road test at the MTO)
- (Optional) Full day of split shifting with a 13 speed transmission.
